E-Verify
I went to a Burger King in Layton for my grand daughter's birthday and seen that they use E-Verify. Guess what! Not one Hispanic employee.

School Board Helps Out
The Davis County School Board, in their infinite wisdom, decided that the best way to help the county residents with struggles that accompany our current economic state is to raise our property taxes nearly 10%.
Apparently even though some of us are struggling to find work, others have had their income cut and others are just able to hold their own, the board decided that the school employees all need a raise.
I feel that we as the citizenry of Davis County owe it to our elected school board members to find replacements who might better represent our needs.
